What is Folkic?

Folkic, Remarkist Inc.’s primary consumer product, is a mobile community app for fan communities, available on iOS and Android. It is currently the main channel for purchasing a Remarkist Lumo subscription.

Folkic gives fans a dedicated space to host and attend events, connect through live audio, collect and trade digital Mementos, and organize communities around the franchises they love, from Gilmore Girls and Buffy the Vampire Slayer to Star Wars, Marvel, and thousands of other properties.

Unlike general-purpose social platforms, Folkic is organized by fandom rather than follower count. There are no algorithmic feeds and no advertising. Community is built around shared passion.

Folkic is built on the Remarkist economy: members earn KRNL by participating in events, spend KRNL to craft Mementos and unlock features, and earn COLR through qualifying purchases. The Lumo subscription provides enhanced access for creators and power users.
