What you need at the door
- Your name and the email address you paid with. That is the whole of check-in. A volunteer finds you on a printed guest list and you walk in.
- If the charge shows on your card, your seat is held. That stays true whether or not you can lay hands on the receipt, so a receipt that never arrived is no reason to stay home.
- Bring the receipt if you have it, on your phone or on paper. It moves the line along faster and it is the quickest way to sort out anything unexpected.
- Some events give you a confirmation number on the page you land on after paying. Where there is one, it sits beside your name on the guest list, and showing it is the quickest way through.
- One receipt per seat. Each seat is a separate purchase, so a party of four has four receipts.
- Someone else collecting for you? Give us their exact full name at checkout, or email us before the day.
Finding your receipt
- It is sent at the moment of purchase, to the address you paid with, and usually arrives within a few minutes. It names what you bought with the full date, time and venue.
- Check your spam or promotions folder first. That is where it usually is.
- Still can’t find it? Email tickets@remarkist.com from the address you paid with and we will resend it and confirm your seat by return.
When and where
Your time and venue are on your receipt, and in full on the page for your event. Doors usually open fifteen to twenty minutes before the start, for check-in and seating, and for trivia events that window is when you get the Folkic app onto your phone at the check-in table.
Every stop, with times and addresses, is on remarkist.com/events.
If plans change
- You can get a refund up to 14 days before the event, for any reason. We return the purchase price less the payment processing fee. Email tickets@remarkist.com from the address used at purchase.
- Inside the 14 days we can’t refund. The seat is being held for ya, and it’s tough to resell.
- If we cancel, or we can’t deliver something you paid for, you get all of it back including the fee, and you don’t have to ask.
- Can’t make it but know someone who can? A seat can be transferred before it is redeemed. Email tickets@remarkist.com from the address you used, with the subject “Ticket Transfer” and the exact full name of the person taking your place.
Before you contact your bank
Come to us first, whatever it is. Completing checkout agrees to our Live Events Terms, which set out refunds, transfers and cancellations in full, and we answer card disputes with that agreement and the purchase record attached. A dispute takes weeks to resolve. An email to us takes about a day and can actually fix whatever went wrong.
Tickets bought somewhere else
Some stops are ticketed by the venue or the festival rather than by us, and those purchases are theirs to handle, under their own terms. We name who that is on each event’s page, and they are the ones who can put a ticket right. This page covers tickets bought from Remarkist.
Ticket questions
Email tickets@remarkist.com and we aim to reply within one business day. That address is the fastest route for anything about a ticket, a session time, a refund or a transfer. Full terms are in the Live Events Terms, which sit alongside the broader Remarkist terms.
Anything else
For your Remarkist account, the Folkic app, or any question that isn’t about a ticket, our general help lives at remarkist.com/support, or email support@remarkist.com. General support aims to reply within 2–3 business days.
